If You're Struggling, You're Not Alone—And It's Not a Lack of Faith

Maybe you've been told to "just pray more" or "have more faith" when you're drowning in anxiety.

Perhaps you feel guilty for struggling with depression because you love God.

You might be exhausted from pretending everything is fine at church while falling apart at home.

You've tried to push through.

You've read your Bible, listened to worship music, and begged God to take away the pain.

But the thorn remains...

Here's what you need to know: Your mental health struggles don't mean you have weak faith. They mean you're human, and you need both spiritual and emotional support to heal.

Research shows that approximately 20% of Christian women experience anxiety and depression, yet 75% never seek help because of shame or misunderstanding. You deserve better than suffering in silence.

Healing That Integrates Faith, Emotional Intelligence, and Grace

At Grace4Thorns, you don't have to choose between your faith and your mental health. We believe God created you as both a spiritual and emotional being—and both need care.

Drawing inspiration from Paul's thorn in 2 Corinthians 12:9, we understand that sometimes God doesn't remove the thorn, but His grace is sufficient to carry us through it. That's where we come in.

Meet Nompilo: Mental Health Educator

I know what it’s like to love God and still struggle with anxiety and emotional pain. Like many Christians, there were seasons when my faith felt weak, and my understanding of God added pressure instead of peace.

Anxiety and depression are real illnesses—but they’re also shaped by how we think, what we’ve lived through, and how we understand God and ourselves. Faith and emotional health aren’t separate; they affect every part of our lives.

God doesn’t call us to suffer in silence. He meets us with grace, even in our thorns.

With a Master’s in Social Work and a heart for Christian women, I created Grace4Thorns as a space where faith and emotional healing work together.

If you’re carrying anxiety, depression, relational pain, or the weight of holding it all together, you don’t have to walk alone. God’s grace is present—and support is part of that grace.
